Drawn on February 8th, The Lungs is dedicated to a 29 year old friend whose life was given back to her. It marks the day she underwent a double lung transplant, a surgery that allowed her to breathe again and start over. The design reflects this turning point in a simple and honest way.

Each line was created with care, acknowledging what she went through, the strength it took to get there, and the reality of being given a second chance at life through new lungs.
